Charges are per hour except those marked with a * which denotes Fixed Price work
Hourly Rates:
We have a minimum charge of one hour on all jobs, after which our work is charged in 30 minute increments. These rates exclude the cost of materials and are subject to VAT.
Fixed Price:
Our engineer will give a verbal or written quotation, if requested, before work commences. All quotations are subject to VAT.
Daily Rates:
Our daily charges are based on a full 8 hour day and equate to the number of hours actually worked. A pro-rata charge is introduced if we work for less than 8 hours.
Materials:
Any materials that are supplied by MGB PLUMBING will be charged at the trade price plus 20% mark up.
Material Collection:
We will keep the collection time for items that are not in our stock to a minimum. We will agree any additional charge with you in advance. This will not exceed £60 + VAT.
Estimates:
Our engineers are able to provide you with an estimate and we are always happy to arrange an appointment to visit you.
Invoices:
We will always give you an invoice that clearly shows a full description of the work that we have undertaken. It will include a breakdown of the cost of the materials that we have used and our labour charge.
Payment Terms:
We respectfully insist that full payment must be made by cheque or cash to our engineer when they present you with the invoice.
